BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT BRANCH
* Development and promotion of forest businesses, local MSME, eco-forestry and associated ventures to generate internal revenue to the PNGFA and to ensure our locals can maximise from spin off benefits.
UTILISATION BRANCH
* Facilitate governments policy on downstream processing and value adding of forest products within PNG, and in meeting the immediate target of increasing processing up to 50% by 2025.
STATE PURCHASE OPTION BRANCH
* To administer functions as set out in Section 43 of the Forestry Act 1991 (as amended).
TRADE GOVERNANCE BRANCH
* Focus on forest products trade and governance issues at and beyond the border and the promotion and marketing as well as, and; the administration of exports legislation covering forest products exports from PNG. (addressing market access issues)
